Empowering older adults through peer services
Older Adult Peer Services (OAPS) is a program designed to provide essential support to individuals aged 55 and older, promoting their wellness and independence. Our Certified Older Peer Specialists undergo specialized training to offer compassionate, non-judgmental listening and problem-solving support. This service is particularly valuable for adults facing challenges such as social isolation or loneliness.
These services are paid for through the Medicaid 1115 Frail Elder Waiver (FEW), ensuring that individuals can access the support they need to maintain their well-being and quality of life.
